$108,000

About 90 more devices a year, based on ReadyCloud's 30%+ more devices recovered compared with box-send methods. Shipping spend also drops by about 50%.

A scenario, not a quote: the 30% uplift is applied relative to your current rate and capped at 100%. Hardware value is equipment recovered, not cash saved, and excludes license, implementation and per-return fees.

Built into your workflows

Your IT team will spend minutes,
not hours

ReadyCloud integrates directly into the systems you already use, including Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice and HaloITSM. Asset retrievals and follow-ups go out from the ticket automatically and tracking details post back to it, greatly alleviating administrative lift and giving your IT team hours back for projects and support requests.

No box. No label. No problem.

The upside
of easy.

Employees return equipment at UPS with just a QR code, no box or label needed. UPS handles the rest.

Each QR code is custom-coded for your company and IT assets. It identifies the return destination, how equipment should be packaged, and the shipping method.

Completely automated

Less admin time.
More assets back.

ReadyCloud automates asset retrieval from start to finish.

QR codes go out the moment your offboarding trigger fires, and email and SMS reminders follow until the employee drops off at UPS. Tracking posts back to the ticket automatically, so nobody on your team has to send a box, follow-up email or chase down devices.

Tracking and visibility

No more guessing
where devices are.

See who has returned devices and who hasn't, plus the transit status of every return. A chain of custody documents each step from QR code to delivery. Built-in analytics show how many devices came back, how long it took and more, across your entire organization.

What does the departing employee have to do?

Bring the equipment and the QR code to any of 5,800+ UPS Store locations. UPS staff package, label and ship it to the requirements set for that asset type, so the employee needs no box, label or printer.

How does the QR code work?

Each QR code is custom-coded for your company and IT assets. It tells The UPS Store the return destination, how the equipment should be packaged and the shipping method.

Employees present their QR code at any of 5,800+ UPS Store locations, and UPS staff pack and ship the equipment back to you. No box, label, or packing materials needed.

What do you need from the employee?

Only an email address. ReadyCloud sends the QR code and return instructions by email or SMS, so you never need the worker's physical address.

Do we need a UPS account?

No. ReadyCloud works without your own UPS account. If you already have one, you can choose to use it.

How does shipping work?

Once an employee drops off their equipment and UPS scans the QR code, UPS packs and ships it to your return destination. You only pay for that return shipment.

Employees never need to box a device, print a shipping label or pay for shipping. UPS handles it all.

Tracking details are posted back to your ticketing system and are available in ReadyCloud.

When are we billed?

Per-return usage fees begin only when the asset is scanned received at The UPS Store. Each is a fixed fee per asset category that covers packaging, labeling, boxes, handling and shipping, with no monthly volume minimums. License and setup fees are quoted separately.

Can we use it with our ticketing system?

Yes. ReadyCloud integrates with your ticketing system to automate the entire asset retrieval process, from QR code issuance to reminders, tracking, reporting and more.

Featured integrations include ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, HaloITSM, ManageEngine and NinjaOne, with new ones added monthly.

Are you a platform or using something custom? Our Headless API plugs into your existing technology. Contact us to learn more.

What if an employee doesn't return the equipment?

Automated follow-ups go out by email and SMS on the cadence you set and stop once a tracking event registers.

Each reminder can be customized with your own messaging and company branding.

Internal alerts can notify someone in HR or IT when it's time to step in or review the return.

Where do returned assets go?

Wherever you route them. Each QR code carries its return destination, so assets ship to the location you choose, whether that's a specific office, a distribution center, a central return hub, or somewhere else.

How quickly do devices come back?

On average, employees return their device to UPS within 3 days of receiving the QR code.

What other use cases are there?

Beyond offboarding, teams use ReadyCloud QR codes for break/fix repairs, company-wide device refreshes, and returns from field service and contract workers. Some even use it to retrieve medical devices, and more.

How long does setup take?

Most teams are set up and integrated with their ticketing system in under an hour. Our team walks you through it on a call, so there's nothing to figure out on your own.

In some instances, complex environments may take a few calls to complete.
